ALTERNATIVE PROCESS PRINTS

The images below are photographs of tri-color gum & cyanotype prints. Tri-color gum prints are made through a process of exposing light sensitive paper through a digital negative coated in a mixture of watercolor paint, sodium dichromate, & arabica gum. The image is made through a process of layering colors one by one - red, yellow, and blue - until the desired print is achieved. The base layer can be substituted with a cyanotype print, instead of a gum layer, which many of the below images use. Most are original photographs, unless otherwise noted. All are original prints.
